Win Stadium No 1 Option For Semi

ST GEORGE Illawarra chief executive Peter Doust yesterday confirmed WIN Stadium is the preferred option if the Dragons earn the right to host a home semi-final.

But he admitted there was no guarantee the game would be played in Wollongong next Friday if the Dragons finish fourth after this weekend's games.

"WIN would be the preferred option for the home support point of view," Doust said.

The Dragons will finish fourth on the NRL ladder if they beat the Roosters in Sydney on Friday night and Brisbane lose to Newcastle.

That scenario would place the Roosters fifth, meaning the two teams would face off again next week and the NRL may consider playing the rematch at Sydney Football Stadium because of the increased crowd capacity.
